Script

In 1986, the patient in bed seventeen at Briar House slept with his shoes on for one terrifying reason. Nurse Helen found him sitting upright, staring at the floor. He begged her not to check under the bed, even when something scraped against the frame. Then his shoe slid off. Helen reached down to retrieve it and saw two red eyes open inside the slipper.
