At dawn on June 5th, 1960, rescue workers found a collapsed tent by Lake Bodom, streaked with blood and torn open from the outside. Inside, three teenagers lay dead, each stabbed and bludgeoned, but all their belongings were untouched. Only one teen, Nils Gustafsson, survived with a fractured jaw and deep wounds, later telling police he saw a shadowy figure in the night. For decades, the murders remained unsolved, while rumors of ghostly screams and cold hands tugging at visitors’ clothes kept locals away. The only identified clue-a single muddy footprint-still sits in the case files, leading nowhere.
