AutoFeed for Zapier

Use any Zapier trigger (a new row, a form, a schedule) to start an AutoFeed video, then catch the finished MP4 in a second Zap and post it wherever you like.

Set Up AutoFeed in Zapier

You need an AutoFeed Ultimate plan for the API key. Everything else is built into the tool.

    Create an API key

    On the Ultimate plan, open Dashboard > API Keys on AutoFeed.ai and create a key. It starts with af_live_.

    Make the "video finished" Zap first

    Create a Zap with the Webhooks by Zapier trigger Catch Hook. Copy its URL; AutoFeed will post the finished video to it. Add the steps that post or save the MP4 from the url field.

    Start videos from your main Zap

    In the Zap that has your trigger, add Webhooks by Zapier > Custom Request. Set Method to POST, URL to the create endpoint, the Authorization and Content-Type headers, and the JSON body below with your catch hook URL as webhookUrl.

    Map your fields and test

    Map the topic (or hook, prompt, YouTube URL) from your trigger into input, and a unique value such as the row ID into idempotencyKey. Test the step: a 202 answer means the video was accepted and charged.

Which Zapier plan do I need?

Webhooks by Zapier is a premium Zapier app, available on paid Zapier plans. The native AutoFeed app will not need it.

Which AutoFeed plan do I need?

The Video API is included with the Ultimate plan. Every integration on this page uses the same API key and spends the same credits as the dashboard, at the same price per video.

What happens if a video fails?

Credits are charged when AutoFeed accepts the request and refunded in full automatically if the video fails. The webhook (or GET /v1/videos/{id}) then shows status "failed" with the reason.

Does the API post the video for me?

No. The API makes the video and gives you an MP4 URL, kept for 14 days. Your workflow posts it, for example with a YouTube upload step, or you can schedule posting with AutoFeed autoposting in the dashboard.

How do I avoid paying twice when a step retries?

Send an idempotencyKey that is unique per video, such as the sheet row number. A retry with the same key and the same body returns the original video and charges nothing.
