How to Connect YouTube and TikTok for Automated Video Posting
Connect your YouTube and TikTok accounts to AutoFeed.ai for automated video posting

Connecting Your Social Media Accounts
AutoFeed.ai supports YouTube and TikTok for auto-posting. Connecting your accounts is secure and only takes a few minutes.
Connecting YouTube
Follow these steps to connect your YouTube channel:
Step 1: Navigate to Auto-Posting. Go to the Auto-Posting page in your dashboard.
Step 2: Click Connect YouTube. In the Social Accounts section, click the "Connect YouTube" button. You'll be redirected to Google's authorization page.
Step 3: Authorize Permissions. Sign in with the Google account associated with your YouTube channel. Grant AutoFeed the following permissions:
- Upload videos to YouTube
- Manage your YouTube channel
Important: Make sure to grant all requested permissions. If you deny any permissions, the connection will fail and you'll need to try again.
Step 4: Verify Connection. After authorization, you'll be redirected back to AutoFeed. Your YouTube account should now appear in the Social Accounts section with your channel name and avatar.
Connecting TikTok
Follow these steps to connect your TikTok account:
Step 1: Navigate to Auto-Posting. Go to the Auto-Posting page in your dashboard.
Step 2: Click Connect TikTok. In the Social Accounts section, click the "Connect TikTok" button. You'll be redirected to TikTok's authorization page.
Step 3: Authorize Permissions. Sign in with your TikTok account. Grant AutoFeed the following permissions:
- Basic profile information
- Publish videos
- Upload videos
- View video list
Important: TikTok requires all permissions to be granted. Make sure you're using a TikTok account that has posting permissions (not a viewer-only account).
Step 4: Verify Connection. After authorization, you'll be redirected back to AutoFeed. Your TikTok account should now appear in the Social Accounts section.
Managing Connected Accounts
You can manage your connected accounts from the Auto-Posting page:
- View Accounts: See all connected accounts with their names and avatars
- Disconnect: Click the disconnect button to remove an account (you can reconnect anytime)
- Multiple Accounts: You can connect multiple YouTube or TikTok accounts if needed
Pro Tip: You can name your accounts to easily identify them when creating series or campaigns. This is especially useful if you manage multiple channels.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues connecting your accounts:
- Make sure you're using the correct account (the one that owns the channel)
- Clear your browser cache and try again
- Check that you granted all required permissions
- For YouTube, ensure your channel is in good standing and not restricted
- For TikTok, make sure your account is a creator account (not just a viewer account)
Once your accounts are connected, you're ready to start creating auto-posting series and scaling your content automatically.
